Ingredients:

- 1.5 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 1 grated tomato
- 1 onion
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 350 gr cubed meat
- 3-5 dried small hot peppers
- Hot water
- Salt, pepper
How to Make Beans with Meat?
- Soak the dried beans the night before. Drain and wash the water the next day.
- Put the grated onion in the steel pot, stir a few times before adding the meat. After adding the meat, saute until brown and tender.
- Add the tomato paste and grated tomato. Saute for one minute.
- Add 1-1.5 liters of hot water.
- Add the dried hot little peppers and spices and cook on low heat until the beans are fully cooked. Depending on the bean type it takes between 45-60 mins.
- Also, check from time to time to see if you need to add water, as some beans absorb more water than others.
Enjoy your meal.
Hints & Tips:
- Soak the beans overnight before cooking.
- When sauteing the meat, make sure it releases its water and absorbs it again.
- If you don’t have time, you can cook dry beans in a shorter time using a pressure cooker.
- You can also cook this meal with pre-cooked beans/canned beans. In this case, you need to keep the cooking time short.
